Soliciting papers for fall APPAM conference

Dear colleague,

Have you considered participating in the fall 2009 Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) conference to be held in Washington D.C. on Nov 5-7? Proposals for papers or sessions are due on Tuesday, March 10 and must be submitted online. APPAM is keen on papers in the field of aging, among other topics. APPAM organizers have posed the following challenge:

"As President Obama's administration begins to implement change, what evidence can APPAM members bring to the debate on failed policies in need of change, on successful policies in need of retention or expansion, and on the parameters that will allow us to tell the difference?"

To submit a proposal, please visit http://www.appam.org/conferences/fall/dc2009/call.asp

Thanks,

Joyce Manchester, Congressional Budget Office

Andrew Biggs, American Enterprise Institute
